Brook Farm Reviews

Brook Farm is a truly special house. The age and beauty of it is paired with cool furnishings that make it such a cosy and easy place to spend time in. Gorgeous bedrooms with comfy beds and lovely bedlinen. Great bathrooms. Such a well equipped huge kitchen and utility. Great for families and large groups. The views are so beautiful you feel completely embedded in such glorious countryside. We lived the cool games room with its infuses vibe but the best bit of all was the wood fired hot tub. So great to sit in the hot tub under the stars and several of us took dips in the swimming lake but not me Im glad to say!! An absolutely gorgeous place wed love to stay again. Owners generous and accommodating and great instruction book which makes all the difference!

We had an amazing stay at Brook Farm, the house was amazing! it had everything we needed and more. The games room and hot tub were great. I couldn't recommend this place enough, for a large family or group. 45 minute drive to Norfolk broads and 25 mins to Southwold.
Jacqueline
Was a lovely house at some point I'm sure, but we found it less luxurious comfortable than expected worn & torn sofas, a door knob or two came off in our hands, dining chair almost collapsed under my son and the spiral staircase could perhaps be reiterated as unsuitable for younger and older family members as it's quite slippery wooden and wellpolished under wear with no handrail for support, which I think could be added for safety. Likewise uneven flooring caused a fall steps up and down in upstairs hallway, and whilst this is mentioned in the description I fear could be dismissed as not much of an issue by others as it was by me. Lovely grounds, fantastic shower room and Mel very helpful when dishwasher was discovered broken.
The photos didn't do this fabulous property justice. Spacious, comfortable and perfect for our extended family for a week at Christmas this beautiful old farmhouse was full of character and tastefully decorated. The hot tub was amazingdespite taking a long time to heat and we all had fun in games barn. The dogs loved the large garden and walks in the surrounding countryside. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with more than enough to cook our Christmas lunch. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. She was very patient with our questions and at the end of the phone when we needed help during our stay. Thank you for helping to make the first Christmas without our dear dad special xx
We had a wonderful few days at Brook Farm to celebrate a member of the parties birthday and his 'bon voyage' down under. We loved it all, especially the games room, the roaring fires and the comfy beds. Thank you Mel for making us feel so welcome. Will definitely recommend and hopefully return!
We had a good time in your full of character holiday home. The garden and pond was full of wildlife including a swan for a few days. Thank you for being available and very responsive to our queries on arrival.
Thank you so much for a beautiful long weekend! We celebrated my mums 60th Birthday here with family & friends she was so suprised! Hot tub and games room was great fun and having the huge dinner table was brilliant to have all around one table for our Mexican Dinner Party!
What a beautiful peaceful place to relax and recharge. Took our 5 children and the dog and never saw them so chilled, the games room being a huge plus, no phones, no xbox, just imagination, fresh country air and nature, we wished we booked for longer. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at Brook Farm and only wished we could have stayed longer. There is a a lounge and separate dining room so it is perfect for large groups. The grounds were perfect for our dogs as well! Would highly recommend this as a place to holiday
Fantastic family holiday at Brook Farm. Farmhouse wellequipped, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Games barn was excellent, hot tub was fun, and the grounds were amazing. Highly recommended.
Absolutely incredible stay, the location is stunning and very tranquil. The games room was a firm favourite from us all, as well as the hot tub. Would love to stay again.
Really nice farmhouse, I would highly recommend this venue. the grounds are really nice and well maintained, beautiful scenery and very remote. The woodfired hot tub next to lake is a nice touch, also the barn with Pool table, Table tennis table, Dart board and Boules make it a fun place to be. Please be aware that the stairs are very steep and windy, we had elderly parents with us and they couldn't make it up and down them, so had to sleep in the front room on a put me up.
