Halsey Reviews

Seamus
We loved our time at Halsey. The house is beautiful and the village delightful. We had a perfect Christmas so big thanks to Elaine and the team at Sykes
Lesley
Booked as a 70th birthday celebration with friends it was ideal. We stepped out of a gale into a very cosy house and lovely welcome treats on the table. We found everything we needed and more. The views are wonderful and it is a lovely stroll to the high street , Highly recommend the Anchor , their roast pork loin was sublime. We will certainly return , but hopefully in better weather.
A very nice house to spend a week in. Great garden and parking. All as we hoped.
Amanda
We had a wonderful time away with the Grandchildren the house and garden are beautiful. All the facilities we needed. Particularly loved the garden and the kitchen oh and the beautiful view from the back bedrooms Lovely location nice and quiet and safe
Three generations of our family had a most memorable stay in this delightful property and really enjoyed our week in Suffolk and Walberswick in particular. Our 3yearold granddaughter said she wanted to stay forever. That sums up our experience very nicely.
Wonderful spring weather and we enjoyed the comfortable and spacious house well equipped with lovely walks.
What a beautiful house and garden in an idyllic village we had really peaceful and enjoyable stay, and just couldn't stop looking at that gorgeous view from the master bedroom balcony. Lunch at the Black Dog Deli was a daily highlight! Thank you.
Richard
Lovely house and location with plenty of space for 2 families of 4 teenage children. Big kitchen and lots of dining space. View of the coast. 2 country pubs and lovely gift shops, delicatessen and coop. Nice and quiet.
Victoria
Attractive house and garden, really comfortable beds and lovely fluffy towels. Kitchen was easy to use. Outdoor furniture of a high standard and we enjoyed the afternoon sun outside. We had a really relaxing stay and loved our daily walk to the beach.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful house. We loved it. It was such a joy to come back to after exploring the surrounding area, especially when the weather was not great.
What a wonderful place, we all had a tremendous time. Absolutely fabulous, couldn't fault anything. Brilliant time!! The children loved playing in the garden. great time at the beach. Beautiful walks to the beach. Collected lots of stones, the children loved the house
Perfect for the 6 of us
Delwar
Had a wonderful time with group of friends. There was 8 of us and it was perfect for all. We cooked ate and relaxed. The property was spacious and will looking forward to go there again!!
Beautiful family house in magnificent setting. Quiet and restful. Although such requests mayu be neverending perhaps provision of a blender, lemon squeezer, nespresso machine andor small coffee pot bwould be a welcome addition to otherwise wellstocked collection of pots pans and crockery.
We were a group of 6 adults. The bedrooms were beautifully fitted out, light and airy rooms with views over the fields to the sea. All bedrooms had tasteful en suite bathrooms. Downstairs , the kitchen was fully kitted with everything one would need to cook and eat at home, but equally there are 2 pubs in the Village which serve excellent food and had a lovely atmosphere. We tried them both. Outside there is a sheltered patio , with table and 8 chairs, which is a suntrap to enjoy, with views of the large and pretty garden. Thank you to the owners for sharing their lovely home. Would highly recommend.
