St James house is in a superb location only minutes from the beach. The house is well furnished and has everything needed for a lovely family holiday . Although no off street parking, this is not a problem as there is plenty of free parking in the vicinity.

Compensation for broken sleep due to faulty fire alarm would be welcomed and only fair? Would you consider this? We liked being so near to the sea and why I booked it and we made the most of it all but it was spoilt greatly by alarm noise disturbing us and our sleep throughout the night and day which was beyond our being able to resolve and the overly fierce fire doors banging shut causing more noise if you forgot to slow them down and constantly worrying and telling children mind your fingers in the doors or opening and closing it for them which we do not have to do at home! Would recommend due to location but also warn them re fire doors problem and to ensure alarm checked and working before their stay.

Overall, very good. House well equipped and suitable for the numbers specified . Lots of stair cases , but ok once you got used to them. Would have liked a better seating area in the garden , but obviously limited in the space available. Lots of seagull noise , but again , one got used to them. Location excellent within easy walking distance of all the shops and other facilities in the town. Pub within 100 yards. Generally a most enjoyable week

The house has been very tastefully decorated and the nicest master bedroom we have ever had from a holiday home. Everything had been well thought through.
