Little Wissett Reviews

It was a great house for our large family Christmas , lovely big kitchen and dining room and table. We all had a great time and definitely consider coming back.
Little Wissett has the potential to be a fantastic holiday home but needs a lot of TLC and a deep clean the double bed needs renewing too creaky to sleep on. One single bed needs replacing, garden seating needs to be fixed .Garden was too overgrown with weeds broken ,seeds of weeds everywhere my poor dog was covered from head to toe.Wendy house and shed broken and covered with weeds. patio area unswept. In the bungalow cobwebs everywhere everything that moved was dirty behind with dead flies and dirt.shower in ensuite so small my poor father. Couldnt get in. In the kitchen very well appointed we thought spent money on coffee pods but machine leaking and not working Grill on cooker not working .so very disappointed looking at the photos when we booked were expecting a fabulous time in your holiday home.If the issues were addressed it would definitely be a fabulous home.we made the best of the beautiful area.and fantastic weather.
All home comforts. Conveniently situated at Aldeburgh. Lovely & peaceful. A very large enclosed garden, very suitable for dogs.
Deborah
It was quite cold in the house when we got there. It did warm up when we turned the heating up. One of the single beds in the bedroom opposite the main bedroom is broken. The slats have collapsed. The cleaner must have noticed that when making the bed. Otherwise the house is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. It was nicely decorated for Christmas.
Beds in a twin room need some maintenance.
Carolyn

Very well equipped accommodation. Pleasantly decorated and comfortable.
We had a great time at little wisestt. House is lovely. Just the shower in the main bathroom Isnt great. Other than that the house was perfect.
We enjoyed another lovely stay at Little Wissett. Accommodation was very comfortable and the facilities were very good. The large garden was a bonus for our three year old granddaughter to play in.
Jonathan
Overall your property was ideal for our needs. There was plenty of space throughout the house and the garden was perfect for all of us and our dog. We had an incident where two of the single beds collapsed due to wear and tear. You responded very promptly to our phone call and attended to carry out a repair, stating this had been mentioned to the owners in the past. We felt that the property could have been a little cleaner, there were dead fliesspiders and cobwebs around the lounge and the large rug in the lounge was dirty. However we found the kitchen very well stocked and appointed. The kitchen and bathrooms were exceptionally clean. In conclusion we had a very enjoyable stay.
Sharon
The bungalow was beautifully equipped, clean and very well decorated. It was beautiful and we had a lovely four nights there with our friends. One of the reasons I chose it, was because the enclosed garden was ideal for our dog and it was a lovely garden, just a little unfortunate that it was too cold for us to to sit out at all during the week we were there. There was only one slight disappointment and that was the shower above the bath in the main bathroom , we felt it could have been a nicer more powerful, updated option. As it was, we all ended up using the shower in the ensuite as it was a far superior one. But overall it was a beautiful place to stay and yes we would return.
Claire
Overall the bungalow was clean & comfortable and the living accommodation very spacious. However were not happy about the boiler having a fault code and having to be reset 4 times a day. Thankfully my husband is a heating engineer so was able to manage the problem during our stay. Clearly though this should have been fixed and you shouldnt expect guests to maintain the problem during their vacation.
Amazing bungalow, very spacious with a large garden. Perfect location, a ver quite road, just a 20 minute walk into Aldeburgh.
