Bridge Cottage Eastbridge Reviews

Ronald
The property served us well, multi generational holiday, close to all the major attractions and has a pub opposite. Log burner nice touch bought the wood from CO OP in Leiston Roadworks for Sizewell C are going to be around for many years to come, apart from long stretches of 30mph we were on holiday so what did it matter. Liked the separate snug, great for the kids to have there own room leaving the main room for the adults to unwind
Alison
A really pleasant place to stay. Very spacious and comfortable. Easy parking. Great base for walking or driving to RSPB Minsmere. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard in the sunshine.
Lindsay
A delightful setting in a small hamlet with lots of lovely walks within easy access. The house had comfortable beds and was a good base for exploring the nearby area. The pub at the end of the drive was pleasant and welcoming and served good food.
Joseph
Bridge cottage is a delightful, large property. It easily accommodated our party of eight. It has lots of space with four double bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is parking for four or five cars.
Bob
We had a family of 7 using this property, we found it very comfortable, location was very good, made use of the pub across the road , would definitely stay again.
Ruth
A great place to stay in a wonderful location, the cottage is a comfortable, spacious, well equipped and has a nice lawned area for children to play in. We would happily stay again.
Mike
The cottage is located perfectly for Aldburgh, Southwold and of course Minsmere. It is well equipped, the bedrooms are all perfect. The massive dinning table was perfect for our group to celebrate our occasion.
Stephanie
Wonderful comfy cottage, loads of storage. Everything there. Highly recommend.
Cath
Absolutely beautiful accommodation, very comfortable and spacious. Lovely location. The only issue at the moment is the road closures. It would be very helpful for people to know when each of the routes in were closed.
Elaine
We had a lovely few days here. The cottage is lovely with plenty of room and location was perfect for Southwold, Aldeburgh and RSPB Minsmere. We were three couples and two friends so twin bedroom was important. Plenty of fridge and freezer space and pub across the road was very good. Would definitely stay here again.
Patricia
Lovely spacious cottage, although kitchen a tad on the small side, beds very comfortable, had all we needed for a lovely Christmas stay.
Joanne
A lovely cottage in a great location for exploring the area. The pub across the road was a bonus. The rooms were light and spacious. Having a second sitting room was handy for any one who wanted a bit of quiet time . Plenty of parking. There is WiFi at the house but in line with a lot of the area there is no phone signal. Not a problem for us but might be important for some guests.
Odette
Really great location for Minsmere with beautiful walks outside the door rich in wildlife. Also opposite a pub for good food. House is generally comfortable, (lovely sofas) but a few maintenance issues which could be easily resolved. Quick to get someone out though when it was clear by day 2 we wouldn't get any hot water Be aware you are unlikely to have a mobile phone signal with most providers in the area (though the property does have good wifi) and there is no terrestial TV - just streaming services on the television - not that you'll want to watch much television with some much amazing wildlife in your doorstep
Stephen
The cottage itself overall was pretty good. Acres of room for six of us. The location was a bit away from the beaten track however and apart from the Eels Foot pub there was literally nothing nearby. A car was a must. There were some issues with the cottage facilities that have been fed back to the owners separately and whilst it did not affect our overall enjoyment, it did take the edge off it. There are ample items of equipment to be able to do things and store things however but the lack of hot water was a problem. The washing facilities, ie the showers worked fine. Overall a fine cottage but not sure whether, as older people, we would return
Valerie
A comfortable and well equipped house with plenty of space.
Joseph
Bridge Cottage is an excellent holiday cottage. The accommodation is spacious. 4 double bedrooms and three bathrooms with showers and WCs. The main sitting room is extremely large, more like some medieval-style hall. There is parking for 4/5 cars. We were a three-generational group including young children. We all very much enjoyed our stay. There were lots of us but the sheer space meant that everything was very relaxed.
Stephen
Lovely cottage in beautiful area (at the moment!).
Linda
The cottage was clean and well equipped. The beds were especially comfortable and all the rooms were spacious. The location was quiet with lots of nice walks nearby. The pub opposite was very good too. It was ideal for our party of seven.
Rosemary
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was on a quiet road and proximity to the pub was convenient.
Victoria
We spent a perfect long weekend at Bridge Cottage. The property was exceptionally well equipped, the rooms were large and very comfortable and the location was ideal - plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring the nearby coast and lovely Suffolk towns. We can highly recommend a stay at Bridge Cottage.
Lynn
Wonderful social area downstairs for a family to spend time together. Great pub with food seconds away from house. Enjoyed the quietness of where house is located.
