Church Farm Halesworth Reviews

Sheila
Lovely house, good location & well equiped.
Gillian & Anthony
We all absolutely loved the house and its ambience. Our 4 little grand daughters loved the mysteries of what they called the dungeon cellar and the attic where they could play and hide happily. The 2 separate living areas were ideal as the little ones could watch tv in one room and the adults relax in the other. Lovely garden. Although we couldn't let our small dog off his lead in case he escaped through the various gaps in the hedge. Anyway a thoroughly enjoyable week had by all. We made sure to leave the house clean and as tidy as we could!
Leanne
This is a characterful, well presented house with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It is well situated in Halesworth, making everything accessible by walking, and a large drive, makes ease for parking. The garden is a welcomed extra benefit, but is not completely secure, if you are taking a dog.
Emma
A beautiful house and very comfortable - great for family gatherings. We had such a wonderful stay for our motherâ??s 80th birthday celebrations. I would thoroughly recommend this property.
Julian
The weekend with the whole family was brilliant, the accommodation is full of character and certainly lived up to our expectations, great location for the coast or the countryside. We would have no hesitation in returning at some time in the future.
Sue
Lovely house, beautifully furnished in a charming small town with cafes, interesting shops and even a fish and chip shop. Plenty of parking in a double gated entrance. As an 80 year old with dodgy knees I found the stairs a serious challenge but there is a lovely downstairs bedroom and shower room. The garden is huge with plenty of space for children to play. We all had a wonderful time there.
Alan
Interesting house -tall people mind your head. Characterful property. Large private safe outdoor space. We even saw deer in the garden Good position for exploring the area. Plentiful easy parking. Steep stairs not for those unsure on their feet.
Paul
We have a fantastic stay at this wonderful house. Very spacious property with a great location. Halesworth is a lovely town with many places to eat and drink and many Independent shops to browse.
Debbie
We had a wonderful family time in this lovely place. The grandchildren would love to come back.
Susan
Excellent location. Large, comfortable, well equipped property. Despite being a very old, it was warm and very quiet. Beds are very comfortable. The stairs are very steep and floor uneven, but to be expected in such an old building.
Samantha
A lovely house. A few tweaks and it would be perfect. Lots of space. Bedrooms were amazing, with really comfy beds.
Daniel
We had a great time in this property making great memories with great family time
James
Amazing character property in fantastic location. 2 minute walk into the town centre and to the small supermarket, but feels like you are in the middle of the countryside. The house is very quirky (definitely need care/may not be suitable for those who are not very mobile - little steps, undulating floors underfoot, and steap/windy stairs). Plenty of dining space and large living room. 2 enormous bedrooms (one with ensuite) and 3 other good sized rooms. Lots of private parking with large gates. Really enjoyed our stay.
Andy
Only comment, central heating not to great wonâ??t certainly struggle to keep the cottage warm in autumn / winter
Trevor
A fabulous quirky, well equipped cottage in a fantastic location.
Camilla
We had a wonderful stay - great outside decking with large table and chairs. Garden perfect for children as fully enclosed although the stairs are v steep and not suitable for elderly/young children. Also twin bedroom has sloping ceiling so not for adults
Pat
Very quirky house, but lovely. Beds comfortable. I booked it for my 70th birthday with family, we really enjoyed spending evenings chilling out in the garden or in the house.
Marion
Very interesting house. Plenty of space and beds comfortable. Would not recommend for anyone with walking problems or with young children as stairs hazardous and trip hazards. Good location for exploring Suffolk.
Elizabeth
Lovely house but will need to supply all basics as nothing provided
