Church Farm Rendham Reviews

Esther
The property is lovely, it was clean and beds very comfortable. Rooms are well furnished with good quality items and the place has a lovely homely feel. Itâ??s a nice place to stay with friends/ family and the location is good for country walks and visiting nearby seaside towns and villages, such as Thorpness and Southwold . Plenty of hot water and the property itself is well heated. It shares a driveway with The Juniper Cafe which serves excellent breakfasts, â??The Allotmentâ?? is probably the best brunch Iâ??ve ever had, highly recommend. However there are a few things to note, kitchen is a bit under equipped for large parties. Only two saucepans so we needed to modify what we had planned to cook, no tin opener and only just enough mugs some of which were chipped. Enough wine glasses for a function though
David
A couple of small things spoiled what otherwise would be an excellent place.
Diana
Comfortable bedrooms although limited storage for clothes. Cooking facilities were quite poor and living room was poorly lit and furnished for our requirements.
Anthony
Lovely old cottage. Be aware of trip hazards at every doorway. Very low ceiling in one area upstairs and a very small bedroom door. Comfortable beds and pillows. Outside area could do with attention. Local pub and next door cafe very good. Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and will discuss the issued raised with the Owner.
Mark
We had a lovely stay, the house is wonderful, everyone loved their rooms and the location is fantastic. So sad to leave!
Sharon
The cottage is lovely and well equipped. We were notified the day before we arrived that the oven was not working but portable hot plates were provided which worked out ok. The garden is advertised as enclosed but beware if you are taking dogs that this is not the case. We had two small dogs with us and they could get out of all the outside areas so has to be watched constantly. Also the cafe in front of the house shares the same driveway which is also part of the garden so not ideal with dogs either. The beds were comfy. Great location foe exploring the area. 10 of us ranging from 16- 71 years old and we all enjoyed our stay. Wouldnâ??t return due to the garden situation with the dogs but ideal if you donâ??t have dogs in your party.
Malcolm
The cottage was really good for a family getaway, beds were really comfortable
Philip
It was a beautiful old house and served our requirements just right. The cafe next door was great for breakfast as well!

Jayne
Lovely farmhouse , in pretty village with a friendly neighbour pub . The house was perfect for a family get together Warm and cozy with the wood burner And a beautiful dining room We enjoyed our stay very much
Stanley
Excellent property, good location for varied days out. Cafe on doorstep did super breakfasts and did not spoil cottage appearance.
Kathy
Lovely house, very clean and beautifully furnished. All the bedrooms had really comfortable beds and excellent quality bedding. Plenty of room for our mixed-age family group.
Kim
This was a very comfortable and spacious house, perfect for our multi generational get together. The bedrooms were all of a very good size, with comfortable beds and lovely bedding. Bathrooms were good, as were towels. The dining room is a beautiful space with a huge table perfect for 8 adults and 3 children. Lovely ambiance for an evening meal. The kitchen was very well equipped with loads of cutlery, plates, glasses and cookware. Comfortable seating outside. Not much space for children to run around but there is a very good park with climbing frame etc just a five minute walk away. All in all a very good base from which to enjoy the Suffolk coastline. We would definitely return.
