Ferrins Reviews

Bernard
We loved our stay at Ferrins, and felt at home there. The secret garden is great. The village has a friendly atmosphere, with 2 pubs, tea shops, a deli and a convenience shop. Take a trip on the rowing boat ferry and back to get your fresh fish from the quayside. We are very likely to return.
Rodney
This property is excellent, it is ideally situated there is a short walk to the beach and shop which is well stocked, there are plenty of eating places in the village with 3 good pubs in easy walking distance, and other small cafes available. There are some good walks around the village, and interesting places to visit around the area. altogether we had a really great holiday here.
Anna
Loved this place: especially the secret garden behind the garden! Kitchen well equipped. Be aware that upstairs is a little unorthodox: you go into the main bedroom to also get to the twin bed room!
Carol
Very pleasant cottage with a lovely garden. Excellent accommodation for our family of 5 adults and 2 toddlers.
Anna
A great holiday house in a peaceful spot that accommodated our family of 10. Particularly enjoyed being able to explore Walberswick by foot and did some lovely walks around the village and along the coast. The Black Dog Deli for coffee & croissants just 2 minutes walk and both pubs for dinner or drinks.
Marjorie
The cottage was lovely, very spacious for 6 adults, 1 tall 15year old, a 10 year old and a 6 and 4 year old! The freezer needed to be defrosted, but otherwise the kitchen equipment was fine.
Esther
We had a super week on holiday in Ferrins. The house was lovely and spacious and the huge back garden was gorgeous. Our toddler loved running around in it! Thoroughly recommend the Black Dog Deli, which we got lunch from a (frankly embarrassing) number of times! Walberswick itself is beautiful, with the beach only a short walk away. And not too far from lots of great places too like Southwold or Africa Alive.
Karen
The house is lovely and accommodated 4 adults and 4 children perfectly. The location in the village is very good and there is a shop and a deli nearby to get whatever you have forgotten! The children loved the crab fishing and swimming and the games room, they were never bored and that made the adults happy! Thank you!
Maggie
Good house for 10 people. Plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. Easy walk to beach, shop and pubs.
John
A good family house for the three generations of our family. The proximity to local shops, pubs and beauty spots were much appreciated as was the welcome pack.
