The Bridge House Reviews

Lovely clean tidy house well stocked kitchen, with everything needed for a happy holiday away from home, nice big range cooker which proved easy to use, Lounge comfortable Bathroom clean & modern, shower products were a pleasant surprise as was the very nice welcome prosecco Adnams of course along with cookies and milk sorry if I missed anything Only slight issue with three young boys the locking latches on the doors were very easy for them to tamper with which meant they could open the doors !
Loved this house the best welcome was arriving at 10pm and finding the house nice and cosy warm, was dreading having to start getting the house warmed up mid oct arrival but it was lovely. Beds and linen all of good quality and very comfy. Kitchen cupboards well stocked and didnt run out after one or two meals. Really clear thought has gone into keeping guests happy, bravo! Probably the first house in Southwold weve rented that Id return to after 5 or 6 different stays thank you!!

A very pleasant, comfortable, lightfilled house, that offers an easy walk straight down the road to the beach or into the centre of town. It was very clean and well equipped. The private parking was a plus but there was also space on the road outside the property, too.
The Bridge House is a very comfortable and well equipped property. There was plenty of room for the five of us. It was extremely convenient for both the sea front and the town centre. We loved Southwold and want to return someday. The house was, unfortunately, let down by the outside space. The garden needed maintaining and the garden furniture really needs renewing as the table was rusty. We bought a cheap, plastic cloth to cover it. As the weather was fantastic for our stay, we wanted to eat outside. Having said this, it wouldnt put us off booking The Bridge House again. Many thanks for a memorable week.

Very nice and clean place which was very well equipped. The location was great with everything within walking distance!

The house is brilliant. Everything from the most lovely artwork to the hotellike sleep experience .Where did those pillows come from ? It is so close to the pier and beach and only a short walk into town plus it has the added advantage of having parking.Thank you Cecily for your help.We will be coming back as we enjoyed our stay so much..From the Yorkshire pals.
Well located property very close to the beach and pier and only a short walk along the prom into town. Property was very spacious and well equipped. Garden does need some tidying up so users could make more use of it.especially the area around and under the bridge. Overall though a very enjoyable stay and would return.
We had a wonderful holiday and we loved the house. It's so light, airy and spacious. The lounge furniture is comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The washing machine and dryer were excellent. We liked the bridge to the upper floor and the garden surrounding the house and we liked the fact that it is so close to the sea. It is maybe the best holiday home that we've ever stayed in.

We liked the position of the property and the facilities offered. We had a good holiday and would choose it again. We enjoyed the wellequipped kitchen, used the open fire in the evening, and the garden, and the garden tablechairs. We were nice and warm. Thank you! We had texted the owner using the number provided to separate a double bed into 2 singles, but this wasn't done. The owner was supportive when we phoned but we had to find the right linen and do it ourselves, which was a bit of a stress when we arrived. The downstairs walkin shower is very small and the handbasin minute. The upstairs shower needs to be wall mounted. The downstairs double room really isn't big enough for the small double bed. There seemed to be a lot of flying insects in and around the house, and we got bitten.
We were very happy with the house and the way everything was organised and explained. We found the cot a bit tricky to assemble and fold down, and the downstairs shower, loo and wash basin a bit cramped. Minor issues ... overall, the house was very well equipped and very comfortable.
Maggie
The Bridge House is well equipped and perfectly placed for both seafront and town. The beds are very comfortable. There is constant hot water.
Had a great fortnight in Southwold staying at the Bridge House starting with a lovely surprise of Prosecco and biscuits! Pretty much all you could need for a holiday is provided and the availability of an onsite EV charger was a huge bonus for us. Some of the foliage around the garage area could do with a bit of a prune. But having said that, a gardener was around on the day we departed! On the whole though, the garden is a lovely, relaxing area. The property is in an excellent location and you can be down at the beach or pier in two minutes. Also, Southwold is just the best isnt it?!!
Warren
Generally the house was lovely and the kitchen really well equipped. The main issue we had was the small shower room with tiny wash basin. Not really suitable as an alternative to the upstairs bathroom. The front garden area was also needing attention, weeding and patio furniture cleaning. However the location was great and the parking very convenient.
Great place to stay, with the added bonus of enclosed garden and parking. Have already booked for next year
Compared to some, Bridge House is very well equipped. Great cooker plenty of fridge space every gadget imaginable masses of crockery and finally an excellent set of knives! Great bed and super towels. Property was nice, clean and tidy on arrival. Thank you for the wine and biscuits!
