Our second time staying at Astondene. Great house, great location. Comfy and well presented. Already planning our next stay.
We loved our stay at Astondene and would definitely return. Location was perfect and the house was spotless with everything we needed. It was so lovely to wake up and hear the waves! Our only gripe would be that there was a bit of a smell in the basement but the kids didnt seem to mind.
Lovely stay. Perfect location. Property has been done up to a high standard and was such a lovely base for us for our weekend away. Beds were comfy. Only downside is having one shower for 8 adults! But would still highly recommend for a few days and would definitely return.
Had a fabulous sunny week in this perfect cottage. We have stayed in almost every corner of Southwold and love this one the most! We will be back.

Beautiful home,very comfortable,fantastic location. Clean and welcome pack was lovely. Could do with an outside light, as very dark with minimal street lighting. Overall excellent and would definitely stay again.
Astondene is a fantastic place to stay. The dcor is well considered, the house is well stocked with quality everything and the location is perfect! Recommend loaded and jacks for simple eating out, Adventure golf by the boaking lakepier and lots of time on the beach.

There was a very strong smell of fresh paint for the first few days but that subsided after time. The property was beautiful and decorated to a very high standard. The beds were comfortable and well positioned. I found the den slightly dark and very cold at night. The heating down there didnt seem to work. Everything else was brilliant and the views were fantastic and so relaxing. Thank you.
The property is in an excellent location and perfect for adults or a family. Its even nicer in person than in the pictures.
