Eversden Reviews

Amanda
Superb cottage. Very spacious and very clean. Location perfect. Couldn't fault it
Elizabeth
The second time we have stayed here and it suits us very well, a great location, not a busy street and easy access to the town and the harbour. Well equipped The stairs are steep and steps upstairs too, not a problem if the guests are mobile, but should perhaps be emphasised.
Jillian
Had a lovely stay in this very comfortable home and we appreciated the welcome pack. We were a family of six plus baby and dog and found that the house provided ample room to accommodate us all. The stairs are quite steep, the beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. We also appreciated the addition of fans as it was quite hot when were there. We didn't use the garage as we had roof racks on both cars and they wouldn't fit through the door but we did park near the garage door to unload. We didn't have any trouble finding a parking space along the green. We would recommend this house as it's in a great location near to shops etc. We walked to the harbour and onwards over the bridge to Walberswick. We visited the East Anglia Transport Museum which was quite a surreal experience travelling on a buses amd trams to nowhere
Pat
Great for a gathering on prime location for all the facilities of a great town
Julie
Had a lovely stay (mumâ??s 80th Birthday). Well equipped, clean and with plenty of parking nearby. Pretty enclosed court yard garden. The stairs to upstairs are steep if you have mobility issues. Would definitely stay again. Thank you
Valerie
Beautiful house will definitely be returning
Claire
Lovely turn-key holiday home, generous amounts of space, lovely dining room and small, pretty courtyard garden, in a great location. Great get away for families.
Steven
Lovely house, perfect location. Thank you for a great holiday.
Kathleen
The cottage is in a great location. The kitchen was well done and very well equipped with plenty of plates, mugs etc. The beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. Sadly the house is let down by low quality furniture in the living room. The garden was lovely and well looked after.
Barbara
We all loved the house - the space, very comfortable beds, the restful decor, all the lovely paintings and prints of Southwold and its close proximity to the shops and sea. There was lots to do in the area nearby and Southwold has loads of nice boutiques, wonderful bakeries, and an amazing pie shop! Our three generation family especially enjoyed Framlingham Castle, the East Anglia Transport Museum, looking round medieval churches, Minsmere RSPB, Southwold pier and crabbing at the harbour. We would certainly go there again and would recommend it to others.
Jim
Eversden is an ideal family holiday home with 4 spacious bedrooms and plenty of room downstairs for cooking eating and relaxing. The garden is a lovely sun trap.Easy access to the shops and a pleasant 10min walk to the beach or harbour
