Hi wonderful stay, size of property absolutely ideal for 6 adults and 4 children. Garden was lovely and very well kept. Couple of suggestions, outside tables and chairs could do with some tlc, also found some door handles in side property were very difficult to open, on saying this it didnt spoil our holiday in anyway. The perfect location for our New Years getaway! Great base for exploring the local area, we loved Walberswick and will come back again. Lots of lovely walks and visits to Southwold, enjoyed wonderful sunsets with golden skies. We had a wonder New Year with all our family, house was a perfect size for 6 adults and 4 childrenteens.

This house is just perfect for a Christmas family gathering and we will certainly be coming back if we can. It is so spacious and well equipped and within easy walking distance of a fabulous shop, a deli and the sea. Also, two pubs! The heating was not working when we arrived but the help we got with this was excellent and although the heating on the top floor never did get going it didn't matter as we had been supplied with electric heaters. The only thing I think lets this property down is the cleaning. We had to move some furniture to collect playing cards and ended by sweeping up a good third of a binbag dirt, toys ... we certainly left it cleaner than when we arrived. We were asked to strip all the bedding off which is fine but slightly surprising there's no welcome pack in return.

Lovely house and so convenient for pub, shops, beach and walks. Lots of happy memories and hope to be back in December 2027.

Thanks for a lovely holiday a modern holiday home with glorious underfloor heating and car charging on site! A lovely home that fitted us all in, a lovely spot, Walberswick is fab and a lovely pub down the road great. We need more time to appreciate the beautiful area! Definitely a winter stay holiday destination...with snow outside and warm indoors.

There was no microwave and coukd do with a bit more parking but that is being really picking everything else was spot on and 1010 group of 9 friends and 2 dogs who who are thinking of going back later this year as it was such a lovely base to explore the local area a stormy weekend held us back but the house kept us warm with space for everyone! Both village pubs are welcoming and serve local beer and spirits and delicious food!

Unfortunately the dish washer is not working properly. This has been mentioned in reviews so I thought it would have been sorted, but no! So Christmas for 10 people required slot of washing up! Not what we wanted to be doing. There were no logs for a cosy fire, even when we arrived on the evening of 23rd of December and even though I had telephoned to check there would be a starter log bag! the picture painted in the write up could not be achieved, disappointing, such a small thing.

The crockery, glassware and cutlery were not cleaned properly. The dishwasher was not working well despite being used according to instructions. The first floor bathroom needs repairs to tiles, bath panel and window sill. The door lock does not work. One of patio paving stones had become detached and was on grass making trip hazards. There was no microwave in kitchen despite being in description.

A lovely large and well equipped home and gardeb which was great for our friends get together. The weather unfortunately wasn't on our side this weekend so we were very happy to have such a nice house to stay inside out of the rain

A lovely weekend spent at Lavvande, celebrating our mums 90th birthday, in what is a beautiful part of the country. The kitchendining area is the standout and most modern room in the house and is where we spent much of our time when gathered together. Extremely clean and well facilitated property and the wine and treats that greeted us was a nice touch as well, thank you.

We loved this house. It felt very much like a home and not a holiday let, I suspect it was a family home before being let out as there were lots of little touches that made it really comfortable. The lay out was great for a group, we were two families with ages from 14 to 80 and we all had plenty of space to entertain together but also to have a moment seperately. The kitchen was full of all the utensils and dishes you could need to cook, and the dining area was perfect for dinner for 10. The village is also really pretty with two great pubs and a deli. We had a great time and would definitely go back.

We have stayed at this property before. One comment I would make is that the property was not recently cleanedserviced. Several dead flies on the floor in the top bedroom, dead spiders in the shower ensuite, kitchen worktops a little bit sticky and just wiped over. I assume it was cleaned some weeks before and had not been used or refreshed before my stay. Some parts are looking tired now main bathroom in particular. For the price point this needs to be upgraded.

Lavvande is a fabulous property. We had a couple of issues the main one being with the EV charging point which needs a PIN number to release the cable. Couldnt find this anywhere and spent a lot of time contacting Sykes who managed to get it for us. The mirror in the ensuite looks rather unsafe and there is also a broken floorboard outside one of the 1st floor bedrooms. Just a couple of maintenance issues but did not deter from the house being perfect for our stay.

An absolutely fantastic location for our family Christmas. The house is so beautiful and decorated fantastically. We had a wonderful time in Walberwick. Everything we needed was available but for it to be perfect few things could be added to make it more user friendly for the amount of people the property can hold, such as only having a two slice toaster, it made breakfast for 7 people quite a tricky task!

Our second stay with extended family in this property. Great space for everyone. Well equipped and easy to cater for and sit 10 people round the big table. Location is perfect, with Coop, Black Pig Deli, pubs, beach and ferry to Southwold all in walking distance. No need to get in the car. The chefs within the group suggested that an electric whisk might be nice, and some of the chopping knives were not very sharp.

Fantastic house lovely comfortable furnishings. Good quality appliancesvery extensive folder with instructions for heating etc etc which makes settling in nice and simple . The only thing that would have made it perfect was a stair gate to keep the dogs from trying to dash upstairs. Easy walk to the beach , local pubs and a trip over to Southwold .

We liked the property and enjoyed our stay. Two disappointments 1. Advertised charging facility required an access code. We could not find . this. As a result we Rang your contact number and were promised someone would get back to us. This never happened. Would have expected someone to ring and say sorry we can't contact owner to find out code and offer compensation as we then had to charge up on the way home. 2. The wifi code in the handbook was wrong. It showed a capital N where it should have been lower case. Fortunately after a day without service I discovered that the purple scrap of paper advising that there was an additional fridge had the wifi code written correctly. We moved this note into the file at the appropriate point but did not have a pen suitable to write on the laminated page. Other Comments we found 2 chipped plates and one cracked glass on arrival we broke 2 wine glasses So, good stay, but could do better. Mike England

This property is in an ideal setting and is in a location that we would come back to. We chose this property for the outside but found the property lacked good seating, outside and in. The photos show everything clean and spotless, so we were a little disappointed on opening the door, the outside furniture was old and shabby, the terrace and garden lacked a little TLC. The bedding and towels were good.

We have had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful home. We found Lavvande to be so clean and well equipped. We have been very lucky and enjoyed some great waks and lovely meals at The Anchor and Sole Bay Fish Company. Thank you so much for the welcome bottle, it was much appreciated. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in Lavvande, the property is well maintained and in good order. Locations is remote & the cottage itself is not of a house on a street. for a location that sleep 10, parking can be an issue.
