Knights Farm Reviews

Knights farm is a great place for a family gathering. Theres plenty of space, its warm, clean and very comfortable. The hot tub was a great success and the local countryside beautiful. Annabelle was so helpful and pleasant.

I and my family had a great time. A great find by my wife. it was a very relaxed holiday. The house is amazing. It was a cross between modern facilities and the old style decor & some very creaky doors which need oiling & interesting uneven floors also some old fashioned taps in a few places. One of the best welcome packs we've had. The hot tub was a joy and very temping to stay in it for to long. The games room was one of our favorites & we all played darts I suggest bringing your own which I did. Its quite easy to get lost for a while as space is the key word in this house. We love the area and there are plenty of places of interest never far away. we would definitely come back. Regards.

What can I say Knights Farm was perfect and perfect for us as a family. I booked the property to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. There was 10 of us 6 adults 4 grandchildren ranging from 69 down to 3 plus our springer spaniel. The property was so clean, well stocked and met our needs 100. The gift of the local food in the hamper was a beautiful touch as was the games under the tv. We used the hot tub everyday. My one tiny little suggestion would be to have a proper path from the gate round to the hot tub instead of having to walk over the wet grass. The games room was used a lot too. We loved this beautiful farmhouse so much we are all going back to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. I would highly recommend this beautiful property.
A lovely house for a big family gathering with plenty of space, a nice games room and big level garden for children to play in. Although the house is clearly old don't expect level floors upstairs!, it was well heated, beds were very comfortable and there was a good sized smart TV. There were some nice touches too with the hot tub a fair dash to a far part of the garden, towelling dressing gowns and flipflops were provided. We did have a few issues but the owners were responsive to try and fix or put in workarounds.
Fantastic accommodation, everything was provided, logs, kindling, towelling robes, flip flops and a lovely welcome hamper full of local products. All bathrooms had hand soap and the kitchen had supplies of dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent etc. The kitchen was well equipped. We were a group of 7 ladies, and we also had Anna the beautician come to the house for our beauty treatments, such a lovely addition to our weekend. The house is remote with no shops or facilities within 2 miles but this made our stay even more enjoyable, as we didnt feel the need to go out. We had a Tesco delivery on the Friday night. The hot tub was perfect, and well used. We will definitely be back.
Our weekend away for 10 people, 2 dogs, ages ranged from 25 to 85, accommodation and setting suited us all, house was lovely and spacious, full range of amenities, hot tub was a bonus and the welcome pack was a lovely personal touch. Visited the local area, pubs, beach and farm shops, all within a short distance. Would highly recommend this property. Great communication with property owners

Beautiful cottage. Spent new year there as a family of 13. Plenty of space. Everything you need is there. Loved the extra touches of the welcome hamper, robes and flip flops and toy basket for the little ones. Annabel was incredibly helpful for anything we needed.
We stayed as a group of five couples and had a wonderful time. All of the rooms are beautiful and spacious and comfortable so there was no bad room problem. The living areas are huge with plenty of space for the 10 of us to eat and sit and chat together. Having an open fire is a treat as the evenings were colder but we were fortunate enough to have glorious weather so enjoyed breakfast in the garden as well as the hot tub. The provision of robes and flip flops and towels for that is a lovely touch as is the generous welcome hamper. The location is rural but with the newly reopened village pub a short way away for a sat pm drink. Thank you to the hosts for thinking of everything and we very much hope to return.
You have a lovely character house and we thoroughly enjoyed our few days there. Well maintained cosy and comfortable in a beautiful setting and all needs well catered for. Although WiFi can be temperamental. Loved the welcome hamper waiting for us on arrival. The spa bath always an added bonus. The area is great for exploring although we did need a car with little ones. Apologies again for our little accident. We much appreciate your kindness and response. Many thanks .

Had a truly lovely break and celebration of my birthday. Everyone loved the house and gardens and the hot tub. The bedrooms are well appointed and spacious. Fabulous kitchen and dining room the drawing room is also a fabulous space. We cannot wait to book again next year.
The house and garden were beautiful and surrounded by lovely countryside. The house has incredible character because of its age but is well maintained, spacious, well equipped and comfortable to stay in. The owner has provided everything you could possibly need for a stay there from egg cups and washing machine tablets to children's toys and a games room!

As a family group of 12, Knights Farm was ideal for our stay. The kitchen was one of the most wellequipped we've come across and the welcome hamper full of local produce and high quality items was a lovely touch. The owner was friendly, helpful and responded quickly. The property is in a quiet location with little light pollution which gave us lovely clear views of the stars. Would recommend.

A Truly Special Stay Idyllic Cottage & Exceptional Hosts We stayed at Annabel and Wills beautiful Grade II listed cottage to celebrate my parents golden wedding anniversary, and it was nothing short of magical. The cottage, which dates back to the 16th century, is full of historic charm and character, yet equipped with all the comforts of a modern home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and peaceful from the moment you arrive. Surrounded by rolling fields and total tranquility, it was the perfect escape from everyday life. The setting offered a real sense of calm and space, which made the weekend feel extra special for the whole family. Annabel and Will were helpful, kind, and accommodating throughout our stay always on hand if needed, but respectful of our space and celebration. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Even had a hamper on arrival with a thoughtful anniversary card from them to my parents! The property was immaculate on arrival, and very wellequipped. We had everything we needed for a relaxing, memorable family gathering. We wouldnt hesitate to return and highly recommend this stunning cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside retreat with bags of character and truly lovely hosts. A real gem!!

It was a wonderful holiday and the house was perfect. We had four generations of my family staying and three generations loved it Isla, 8 months old declined to comment. The beds were very comfortable and everything provided was of good quality so I would highly recommend to anyone considering staying.
We had the most amazing stay at Knights Farm and would thoroughly recommend this to others. The owner was incredibly helpful but also not intrusive. We were very lucky with the weather during our stay and was able to make the most of the garden a beautiful, peaceful setting and we even had an owl visit ! Knights Farm was a hit with everyone and the perfect way to celebrate our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary.
We had an amazing time at Knights Farm. The setting was idyllic. Interior was gorgeous and perfectly set up. We very much enjoyed the Game keepers 3 course dinner in the evening for an extra special touch. Would highly recommend
Debbie
A stunning property, lovely and clean. Fabulous facilities for all the family. Such character. For a family to be able to come together to celebrate together in real style was such a lovely experience. Would most definitely recommend. Thank you for such a lovely stay!!
Our stay at Knights Farm was fantastic. We were three families including 5 kids between two and five years old and the house was ideal. The garden is a great space with hot tub and BBQ area. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining table can easily seat 10. Annabel, our host, was very responsive and helpful before, during and after or stay. We took advantage of a private chef Jess Gamekeepers Daughter one night and that was a big success too.
This is an ideal property for a quiet relaxing family holiday. Super large lounge and dining room to allow all 12 to be together. Lovely location.
Joanne
Knights farm was perfect for our family gathering, so spacious but cosy at the same time. A very well equipped kitchen, perfect when cooking a Sunday roast for 12. We all had a great time, Very accommodating, the welcome book had everything you needed to know and more.
Great house for large gatherings! It's beautiful, well equipped, very clean and in a tranquil rural setting but close to lots of great walks and activities. We had a fabulous time and can thoroughly Knights Farm to other groups.
A beautiful home and a perfect place to stay. The home itself is beautiful and equipped with everything you could need, the host went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The area is lovely, you can walk for miles and not bump into a soul, perfect for our pooches who love exploring new areas. Thanks again for having us, well definitely be back again.
Knights Farmhouse is all anyone could wish for in a holiday let. All 9 of us adults found the beds luxuriously comfortable. No feedback from the two year old about her cot but she stayed in it long enough for mum to get some sleep. The hot tub was a pleasure even in the cold of December. The games room with its giant tv screen, darts board and baby footer was a joy to the young of heart. Firewood was plentiful and the chimney in the lounge kept the room smoke free. Our cooks found it a little tricky keeping the oven at the correct temperature but that was due no doubt to inexperience and made no difference to the quality of the meals.
Knights Farm is the perfect countryside retreat! Annabel, the host, had thought of absolutely every little detail to make our trip perfect, we loved our welcome hamper with some local goodies in and a bag of potatos grown on the farm! Even our dogs were spoilt with with jars of dog treats and baskets with fluffy blankets! Not only was the house beautifully decorated and spotless, but the rooms are huge with so many original features, the beds were all so comfortable and even the showers were powerful and hot which you don't always get in older houses, the garden has beautiful views of the countryside and nearby river whilst still feeling private, the hot tub was a real treat and we were even supplied with robes and flip flops! We couldn't recommend this property enough for large families or friends getting together. The service we received from start to finish from Annabel was impeccable and we couldn't ask for more!
Enjoyed a wonderful time away at Knights Farm. The house has been decorated to a beautiful standard with everything you could need for time away with friends and family. We loved the living room looking out over the beautiful gardens and Suffolk countryside. Excellently set up for those with children, loved there were built in stair gates and plastic cutlery for little hands. Plenty to do in the local area or a soak in the hot tub if you dont want to venture afar! Cant wait to return
