Limosa Reviews

Kevin
Superb accommodation. Best property we have stayed in. Spacious, airy with good natural and artificial lighting. All bedrooms and bathrooms great. Fantastic kitchen with everything you need. Wife was particularly delighted with the salad spinner!
Pamela
very modern property close to all amenities and eating places
Jan
We stayed as a group in Limosa some years ago and were impressed by its makeover
Beverley
A spacious comfortable property which extremely well equipped. Close to the town - walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had delicious meals at The Lighthouse and Aldeburgh Market. We would definitely return.
David
If these few improvements could be made, the house would be very comfortable indeed.
Alice
Excellent space with great location. Only two showers full showers but otherwise it worked well for all of us.
Barbara
We were a family group aged 6 to 80 away together to celebrate a 30th and 60th birthday plus one of our party was 6months pregnant so many people to consider when finding the right property - Limosa was perfect truly perfect for us. The property was just as described and the kitchen amazingly well equipped and only a 2 min walk to high street with everything we needed and a 4 min walk to beach and when in the house or garden it was extremely quiet even though so close to everything. Would thoroughly recommend Limosa had a wonderful stay.
Susan
It had been 8 years since we last stayed at Limosa and we were very impressed with the modernisation and decor. It is a beautiful roomy bungalow and ideal for family or a group of friends to stay in. It is so convenient for the shops, restaurants and seafront. We will definitely be back soon.
Victoria
We would definitely recommend this house. Fully equipped with everything you could want. Very comfortable and spacious. Very quiet location with parking. Convenient.
Jennifer
Limosa is a beautiful, modern, one-level property in a central location.  Within minutes you can walk to the beach and town, giving you easy access to all the amenities, restaurants and shops.  It is also a great base if you choose to drive out to explore the local area.  The open plan living space was a light, social space and the kitchen was well stocked with all the crockery, cutlery and serving utensils needed.  We especially liked having an ensuite per bedroom and mini toiletries were provided, plus hairdryer.  Parking space for two cars, three if small, and the street outside offered additional parking.  The welcome hamper on arrival was an exciting surprise and much appreciated.  Our only comment would be to light sleepers ... pack an eye mask.  The bedrooms have blinds, not thick curtains, so the rooms are light from sunrise.
Al
What a first class property. Location amazing. Decorated and furnished to a really good standard and just a fabulous place for our group of friends to celebrate joint birthdays
David
A lovely 4 bed / 4 bathroom house, great kitchen / dining room so everyone could cook / talk / eat together & only a couple of minutes from the beach & town.
Angela
Glorious property, modern, spacious with an amazing location close to everything - pub, fish and chips, High street and the beach. Also free parking on the property and easy parking on the street outside. Plus a lovely welcome hamper!
Janet
Thr home layout is excellent
Julia
Limosa is in such a great location, so close to the High Street, but on a quite road. It's a lovely place for a group of friends to stay, the living area is perfect, there was plenty of room for 6 of us & it didn't feel crowded at all. The beds are comfy & the shower in the front bedroom is great. The other shower was slightly on the small side, but still worked well.
Tara
Perfect for a digital detox, if that's what you want.
Susan
A wonderful property in a great location. A few minor issues about lack of coat hooks and clothes storage space, but overall very nice.
H J
Good location, very clean. Well equipped kitchen. No instruction book for the hob and oven. No cover on worktop power point, though, and no mention of possible induction hob problems when in use for heart pacemakers and insulin pumps. No internal steps, so good fo people with mobility problems
Nadine
Great property and location. Just a few additional touches would make it outstanding, however we loved the house.
Claire
Lovely house in a great location .
Ann
Property had a good layout. Very nice kitchen, with plenty of space. We had to contact owners regarding a blocked shower, which caused an unpleasant smell for the beginning of the week. This was soon dealt with. Bedding all needs renewing.
Angela
Limosa is in a very quiet location but only minutes from the bustling town and the beach. There is plenty of space and the kitchen is very well equipped. The welcome hamper was a nice gesture. Thereâ??s parking for two cars which is very useful as parking in Aldeburgh can be difficult. The Magpie bakery and fish and chip shops are to be recommended! We would definitely consider booking again.
Helen
Beautifully decorated property in the most marvellous location. Kitchen incredibly well equipped and all decor top quality. Loads of space. All bedrooms having ensuite bathrooms a real bonus A welcome hamper and toiletries a lovely and appreciated surprise
Sue
To find a cottage in central Aldeburgh was really fortunate. The location could not have been better -quiet but so convenient. It is clean and well presented and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A few small tweaks eg hooks and shelving would improve it further but it is a lovely holiday home and we would be happy to book again.
Paula
Absolutely beautiful house for family / friends to get together. Fabulous location, close to all amenities. Very impressed and will definitely return
Colin
A very good property in an excellent location but sadly let down slightly inside with some basic facilities and attention to detail
Claire
My family were blown away by Limosa. The feeling of space and tranquility in this lovely home made our holiday so memorable. Superb location in a quiet little road off the High Street , so convenient for the shops and restaurants. Off road parking for two cars and garden space surrounding the house makes for a perfect holiday home. Lovely kitchen and everything you could wish for in the way of utensils. Lovely welcome hamper including milk and tea bags and coffee which was a lovely gesture. Underfloor heating made the home very comfortable, it would be better to have some hanging space / drawers in the twin bedroom and some hanging space in the front bedroom , although we managed to share out the wardrobe space in the two rear bedrooms. It was a little unusual not to have any coat hooks in the hall space. Also maybe hooks behind doors would help with dressing gowns etc. We have already booked up for another holiday in Limosa.
Michael
