Summerville Moon Reviews

Maryla
Location couldn't be better - 2 minutes walk from the beach, pier, putting green, crazy golf and boating lake, and only 15 minutes gentle stroll to the town centre. Kitchen has everything you might need. Wonderful large enclosed garden, perfect for a 2 year old to run around in and would be great to sit out in if the weather had been a bit warmer! Lovely comfortable living room. Downstairs bedroom and en-suite very compact, not much room to manoeuvre in the shower, and some of the beds not very comfortable. Really appreciated the provision of 2 stair gates.
Keith
Lovely stay at summerville moon, great location, enjoyed the garden and the off street parking is always a bonus in southwold.
Dan
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is great for younger children - very close to the skate park (!), the beach and other amenities. They loved playing in the large garden. We all liked the homely atmosphere (and fairy lights), the personal touches such as quirky artwork. The bathroom arrangements worked well for six people. It is a lovely airy, light house, perfect for a seaside holiday with your family. The off-road parking is also a big plus.
Steven
Lovely house in an ideal location, close to the pier and beech. We all enjoyed the game of â??Hunt the Freezerâ? This then evolved into Hunt for the bedroom bins, followed by Where are the rest of the coat hangers? Other than these strange anomalies the four of us enjoyed our week at Summerville Moon and one of us was even supple enough to get into minute shower cubicle but she has done Yoga for many years ! The upstairs bath has no shower curtain so if you were to use the shower attachment in it be prepared for a mop up operation afterwards A couple of additions apart from those mentioned might be an Air fryer and a blender for any health conscious future guests to use. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. Weâ??ve spoken to the owner and the issue has now been resolved.
Susan

We had 3 generations of our family in the cottage for a week to celebrate a milestone birthday and we all absolutely loved it! Plenty of room to move around, all the equipment we needed and in an ideal location. Itâ??s the kind of cottage I could live in. Thank you for allowing us to use it
Susan
The property is in a fabulous location, close to the sea and a quick walk into town.
Jane
We had a superb family stay at this house for Christmas and New Year. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with an excellent location very close to the Pier. A beautiful garden and off road parking are a bonus. Definitely recommended!
Sarah

Thomas
Lovely cottage, big garden and great location. Very comfortable.
Jane
Somerville Moon was well presented, clean and homely. The location was convenient for beach, pier and walks into the town. Southwold has lots to offer with many independent shops. Four friends had a great stay.
Jo
Location is fantastic, less than 5 mins from the pier/beach which was perfect for us. Itâ??s also reasonable distance to walk into town. The parking spaces on the driveway was also really handy. For the house itself, itâ??s lovely and spacious and the downstairs bedroom with en-suite was helpful for the older guests in the party, though it should be noted the shower in the en-suite is on the small side if you have anyone with mobility/access issues. The living room is a lovely social space to relax in and the large garden was perfect for our young children to play in. Would recommend!
Jean

Christine
