Ivy Cottage Southwold Reviews

Wendy
Lovely cottage, very comfortable, warm and well equipped. Perfect position to explore Southwold, just a few minutes walk into town.
Audrey
We spent a lovely week in Ivy Cottage, lovely comfortable accommodation, everything we needed was provided. Very comfortable beds and settees, great TV and Wi Fi. Location is excellent, in easy reach of the town, beach and the common. Weâ??ve stayed here several times before and will very likely be back again in the future.
Paula
Great house lots of space lovely settee and decor. Fully equipped with lovely crockery owner has thought of everything. Really lovely suntrap in the garden in the morning and throughout the day until 6 pm in the afternoon nice furniture and shed. Shower upstairs is a nice size and so are the bedrooms our grandchildren loved it. We would definitely come again possibly next year if itâ??s available xx
Susan
A very well equipped cottage in a great location.
Amy
We had an excellent week here, the house is so well equipped for families and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. A great location, perfect for a week in Southwold!
Sarah
A warm, comfortable and spacious house that fitted us all in. Itâ??s a great location handy for the common and The Red Lion. It was nice to have the garden space but you canâ??t let the dog out unaccompanied due to the lay out of the outside space.
Carole-Anne
This is the second time we have stayed at Ivy Cottage and it is one of my favourites due to its perfect position, comfortable living room, and reasonable pricing. So many cottages in Southwold have gone wild with their prices yet they fail to meet the mark and it shows when they remain unoccupied except at peak season. On both occasions we have stayed in the colder months and the cottage has always been warm and welcoming. Comfortable beds make a difference as well along with a very thoughtful welcome pack!
Timothy
A very snug cottage, perfectly positioned for the sea, town and common
George
Great cottage in a great position, only wished the agents would have acted on our unusual problems
Maria
Lovely cottage with wonderful beds and location is perfect!
Michele
We loved the location of Ivy Cottage as it was close to the Common, shops, pubs and the beach. The lounge was large enough for 5 adults and 2 children but unfortunately, the kitchen was not! However, it had everything we needed in terms of equipment. The outside dining space was used every day (the weather allowed for this!) and the shed was really useful as we were able to store all of our beach things in it. The downstairs bathroom was a good size and there was plenty of hot water. The agents were told of the blocked drain in the shower upstairs. We would certainly use Ivy Cottage again whilst the grandchildren are still young enough to fit the bunk beds! We all had a wonderful family holiday and Southwold didn't disappoint. Of course, the weather helped, but even if the weather is bad, there is so much to do that you could never get bored.
Nicky
Excellent location, very close to beach and town. Comfortable beds and sofa and nice outside space with large table and chairs. For dog owners; note itâ??s not enclosed between back door and outside enclosed area and no grass, but can leave top of stable door open rather than whole door for unreliable dogs or small children. . 2 minute walk to grassy area. Lovely walks close by.
Timothy
A well equipped cosy and in an extremely handy location for the sea and town
Susan
A clean, comfortable and cosy cottage which met all of our needs. The house was very well equipped with good quality equipment and bedding. We certainly hope to come again
