Old Brewery House Reviews

Jane
Itâ??s a wonderful place to stay- lots of space and well equipped, in the heart of the village. We come back every year as we love staying here.
Ivan
We had a lovely stay at the cottage as a family. The house is very comfortable - enough space for everyone, good sunny bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, views from the house and the garden - peerless. Highly recommend for a large family or a group of friends.
Peter
Great cottage with lots of space for those considering a family get together. Very good location. Welcoming owners and nice welcome pack.
Robin
A large property with genuine history, (parts of it date back to the 16th century,) and which oozes character. The location, so close to Orford Quay and even closer to The Jolly Sailor pub, is spot-on. The property sleeps six with ease, two four-poster beds being the doubles, and eight at a pinch if the last two are happy to climb and descend a very steep stair up into the roof-space. The garden is spacious, but is not secured adequately enough to allow one's dogs to roam sans lead. (ie. There is no gate across the entrance driveway.)
Trevor
A lovely characterful house with lots of space. It accommodates a large group comfortably and in great proximity to all the local attractions and facilities. A friendly and accommodating property contact.
Anik
The Old Brewery house was the perfect place for our family reunion in Orford. The living space is huge and the rooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed many evenings in the beautiful garden playing pétanque, croquet and taking in the quiet beauty of Suffolk. Location is perfect as it is only a few step away from the quay and the heart of the village. Thank you to the owners who were very welcoming and helpful with our questions. We look forward to our next stay!
Gillian
This is a unique and characterful house, very well equipped and full of wonderful old furniture and art works. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the modern cooker was greatly appreciated. It is very spacious and in a perfect location in Orford.
Anthony
Ideal location. Comfortable. Full of character.

We had a very comfortable stay at The Old Brewery House, using the house as a base to do some cycle rides around the coast and rambles across Orford Ness. The house is in a great location, near the quay and Jolly Sailor pub and just a pleasant short walk to the bakery and Deli. The owner who stays near by was friendly and helpful. Crisp clean sheets, good wifi signal for a rural location, and a comfortable lounge and dining area with access to iplayer and Netflix. Easy to use central heating if it gets chilly, as well as a log fire with kindling and wood provided. We had shared use of a pleasant and well kept garden, with views over the surrounding Suffolk countryside. Very relaxing.
Carol
Old Brewery House was an ideal location for our family get together. It was comfortable, plenty of space but cosy as well and as my 5 year old granddaughter said, "it was awesome ". We really appreciated the generous welcome pack that the owner left us and Orford is a beautiful small village that has everything you need. We will return.
Kathrynne
Fabulous cottage in a great location. This was our second visit and it was so lovely. Really spacious property (we were 7 with 2 dogs and it never felt cramped) with great furnishings and very well equipped.
Yolanda
We enjoyed a lovely stay in this beautiful, well equipped, characterful home.
